Policies and Procedures Manual: Merchandise Chairman


The Merchandise Chairman is responsible for all things related to the ordering and sale of materials such as stickers, patches, hats, t-shirts, banners, magnetic, and any other merchandise.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Maintain proper stock levels of all merchandise. It is expected that most items will be ordered from SCCA headquarters in Topeka. These items may be direct-billed to CFR. Contact the SOLO Program Chairman for additional details. Other items will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

  2. Keep a running total of all income generated by merchandise sales (required to properly balance cash received with registration totals).

  3. Propose ideas for additional merchandise or sales strategies that might increase revenue. Past examples include t-shirts with the CFR logo on them, hat and iron-on patch combinations, and so on.
